We dream about weddings all day long. From intimate backyard celebrations to massive ballroom fetes and everything in between, we never stop thinking about where our next wedding might take us. We love modern geometric centerpieces, chandeliers dripping with crystals, and mismatched China. Some of our favorite venues are old warehouses, wineries, and historic estates. We would follow our clients to the depths of the jungle or the surface of the moon just to be a part of their weddings. We especially love when couples come to us with ideas that challenge us to create something we never have before.
As New York City wedding planners, we find inspiration in everyday life, and are most excited when couples share their love stories with us. What can we say, we LOVE love! At Kelly McVeigh Events, we thrive on creating unique moments for our clients’ once-in-a-lifetime celebrations.
Meet our Owner
Hi! I'm Kelly - owner and creative director of Kelly McVeigh Events. I'm a New York City based wedding planner who is passionate about creating unique events for each and every client. I work with brides and grooms who have a wedding vision, but aren't sure how to pull everything together. I feel lucky to share such special moments with my clients.
When I'm not planning weddings, you might find me sampling wine at a local wine bar (#roséallday), trying out the hottest new restaurant, or catching up on the latest episode of This is Us.
Here are a few things you might find interesting about me:
- I actually have a Bachelor's degree in Event Management (J-what? JWU!).
- I was on The Price is Right.
- My favorite snacks are salty rather than sweet. Give me a bag of chips over a cupcake any day (although I do indulge in a piece of wedding cake every now and then).
